Well the fish are in the tank and have been there for a few weeks now! Check out this little pic which is also the logo at the top of the page (at least at the time of posting this).

Sorry it wasn't a staged pic so my magnet is in the pic and the coral hasn't been place yet. Actually the coral has been temporarily removed from the tank as I've put the tank into hypo to get rid of ich that I carelessly introduced. Remember... QT everything!

I have saltwater in the tank! It is also heated and up to about 74°F currently and will have to get bumped up some. Majority of rock will be placed this weekend with remainder to be moved when contents of my existing tank are moved over. Maybe the substrate will get put in this weekend as well!
I have setup a temporary sump for testing purposes mainly. Just checking out the volume of water my return pump is moving and the effectiveness of the drains and lines. Shelves for actual sump and equipment going in this weekend followed by the setup of the sump, skimmer, reactors, frag tank and algae scrubber.
Hopefully fish will be in there in two weeks.

Well the drains work well. I got the drains completed and installed. The lines now go all the way to the basement and I haven't noticed any leaks.
So far the lines is just going to a floor drain in the basement. It allowed me to have a hose going wide open filling the tank to test the overflows.
I was initially concerned with the gurgling but once the water level built up to a point, the overflows found their balance and became super quite.

Well I finally got my bulkheads put in. I got the shut offs installed and put some water in the overflows to check them for any leaks. Everything seems fine and dry after several days.

It's well past time to start my build thead for my new reef setup. I figured I had to start it today since I do have the tank in the correct place and do have it wet today.
